Sephora inspired Brush Holder/Organizer

HEY YALL!! I got this idea from Spektra.net and also Enkore on youtube! It was sooo easy and fun.

1) I bought a glass jar, size will be personal preference, mine is very large as you can see, I put several brushes in it.

2) You will need to get some ART sand, make sure that it is not play sand. Art sand is ground very very fine so that your brushes do not get damaged or scratched OR if you get the sand in the bristles of your brushes it will be really bad to use them on your face. I bought 8 lbs using 4 different colors (3Lbs Black, 2Lbs Red, 2Lbs Pink and 1Lb White). I purchased sand from http://www.sandartsupplies.com/index.htm. They have 18 GORGEOUS colors, they are very vibrant and very very good quality as far as sand goes. You have to purchase a minimum of $10 which wasn't hard, the shipping is expensive though, on 8Lbs it was $11.

3) THE FUN PART!!! Making your design, I am not creative so I just made thick and thin layers to mix it up, also I didn't use a color pattern, I didn't want it to look uniform.

4) PUT YOUR BRUSHES IN THERE!!! :) Make sure to keep them from the perimeter to keep from mixing the sand. BUT its just that easy!! Hope everyone enjoys!

I have to start by telling you that I LOVE LOVE LOVE nail polish, but I do not ever paint my nails because I have my hands in water all day. Well if you follow me on twitter then you know that I have been off work the past couple days because of an accident.... blah. anyways. So after so long 48 hrs of not being able to work I pulled out my nail polish and started playing. I absolutely love this color! Orange is one of my favorite colors on my skin tone. The pictures do not do this polish justice. And honestly I love anything Orly makes. So here it is! -

Deep Blue Molokini Conest Entry for Sigma Makeup / Brushes / Shopping

This is my contest entry into the Sigma Makeup Contest. I was to take inspiration from the Deep Blue Molokini. The look was required to be wearable, which I think this look is. I wore it throughout the day. Since the eyes were so dramatic I wore black clothing and it made the eyeshadow really stand out. Thank you everyone for WATCHING.

I created this look in just a few minutes, all you need is a comb and some bobby pins. It is very simple once you get the hang of it. I hope everyone enjoys.
